Jack Ivins Music

My name is Jack Ivins and music is my life. I have been playing drums live and in studios for over 20 years. I love to create. I am based out of Nashville and want to work with you both live and on your next record!

In addition to my own bands, Burn the Ballroom and The Ivins, I have played live for Grammy-winning country hall-of-famer, Tanya Tucker; multi-platinum pop-punk outfit, Relient K; American Idol winner, David Cook; indie-alt favorites, Moon Taxi; 80s British new wave group, When In Rome; guitar virtuoso, Orianthi; glam/power pop rockers, Enuff Z'Nuff; thrash legend, Joey Belladonna of Anthrax; vocal powerhouse, Corey Glover of Living Colour, and many others.

Furthermore, I have played live alongside current or former members of Guns N' Roses, Megadeth, Halestorm, the Goo Goo Dolls, All American Rejects, Queen, Daughtry, Breaking Benjamin, Yellowcard, Poison, Exodus, Steel Panther, P.O.D.,  All That Remains, Sleeping With Sirens, Dashboard Confessional, Staind, Falling In Reverse, Machine Head, Badflower, Bayside, Dangerous Toys, Cartel, The Nixons, Accept, Saving Abel, Goodbye June, Aranda, Attila, Autograph, Great White, Vixen, Armored Saint, Black N' Blue and the list goes on and on.

My bands have also had the good fortune of sharing the stage with some ridiculous acts: The Misfits, Incubus, The Darkness, SIXX:AM, The All American Rejects, Queensryche, Dance Gavin Dance, Motion City Soundtrack, The Motels, Cute Is What We Aim For, Rooney, Parachute, Cracker, The Ataris, Night Riots, KIX, Taproot, From Indian Lakes, Carolina Liar, Mae, The Vagabonds, The Rocket Summer, Every Avenue, Carbon Leaf, Charm City Devils, The Pat McGee Band, The Unlikely Candidates, Barnes Courtney, Bow Wow Wow, and many more.

In my recording career I have had the privilege of working with some amazing producers and engineers: American Music Award and ASCAP Songwriter award winner Bill Leverty,  Rocky Gallo (John Legend, Jon Bon Jovi, Gavin DeGraw), John Morand (Sparklehorse, GWAR, D'Angelo), Austin Bello of Forever the Sickest Kids, Ace Enders of The Early November, and Grammy Award winner Michael Congdon (Chris Brown).

My music has been featured on MTV's Real World and Big Tips Texas, NASCAR, Fox Sports, Oxygen's Best Ink,  and a smattering of other random programs.
